IMC Actions COMMS

The actions for IMCIMC —Instrument meteorological conditions are a lot more complicated that for VMCVMC —Visual Meteorological Conditions. The questions break down into three areas: on departure, en route in controlled airspace, and en route in uncontrolled airspace. The rules are as follows:

On departure: Fly to the assigned level and maintain for 7 minutes, then return to the flight plan. En-route controlled: Maintain the assigned level for 7 minutes, then return to the flight plan. En-route uncontrolled: Maintain the assigned level for 20 minutes, then return to the flight plan.
