As you may have seen with the mayday call, the following mnemonic can help: MTMT NIP QP.

Mayday mayday mayday Their callsign (as in ATCATC —Air Traffic Control) My callsign Type (of aircraft) Nature of emergency Intentions Position Qualifications (eg CPLCPL —Commercial Pilot\'s Licence) POB (Persons on board) or any other information

For a pan call, the order is exactly the same but just replace "Mayday" with "Pan Pan".

The question may be given to you either as a direct "what order" or asking you to put components of a mayday call in order. For either, the above method will work.
