Change of Callsign COMMS

ATCATC —Air Traffic Control may tell you to change your callsign for reasons of safety, such as two very similar callsigns on frequency. You may not do this unilaterally. The correct terminology is "change your callsign." You are also required to be aware of when you will revert to your flight plan callsign, which is covered in another question.
