Rejected Take-off COMMS
If an emergency (such as an engine fire or birdstrike) jeopardises the takeoff after the aircraft is rolling, this may be noticed by either the aeroplane crew or by ATCATC —Air Traffic Control. Here, as with a few situations, the terminology used by ATCATC —Air Traffic Control and the aeroplane is different: for the aeroplane "stopping" and for ATCATC —Air Traffic Control "stop immediately." The easy mistake to make is to go for the wrong one.
