TS Frequency Descriptors MET

There are four descriptors which apply to "how common" cumulonimbus clouds are in the sky. These are, with their meanings:

  • ISOL (isolated) - individual CBCB —Cumulonimbuss
  • OCNL (occasional - "well separated" CBCB —Cumulonimbuss
  • FRQ (frequent) - "barely or not separated" CBCB —Cumulonimbuss
  • EMBDEMBD —Embedded (embedded) - embedded (they are inside other clouds) CBCB —Cumulonimbuss
