Modulation RNAV
Modulation is how we “imprint” useful information (for example, a song, which is a low frequency sound wave) “onto” a radio wave so that it can then be transmitted through the air, then decoded and heard at the opposite end.
There are different types of modulation, which you need to know and are covered elsewhere. Any process of modulation creates sidebands, which you are also required to know about.
