Wave Speed RNAV

A straightforward mark to get on the exam. Radio waves travel at 30,000,000 metres per second. This is 300,000km per second or (approximately) 162,000 nm per second. You need to know this figure, not only for this mark but for converting frequencies and wavelengths.

The only mistakes that can be made with this topic are getting the units wrong (e.g. nm instead of km, or hours instead of seconds.)
