Other systems, such as television, mobile phones, GNSSGNSS —Global Navigation Satellite System and many others use UHFUHF —Ultra High Frequency frequencies. To distinguish the pulses of a DMEDME —Distance Measuring Equipment from the pulses used by these other systems, the DMEDME —Distance Measuring Equipment communicates using pulse pairs, rather than single pulses.
