FMS DB Storage RNAV

The navigation database is read-only for pilots, but there is space for you to put your own data. Think of it as a hard drive with an operating system installed - you do not alter the operating system but there is space for your own data. The navigation database is updated by the Ops department in accordance with the AIRACAIRAC —Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control cycle, every 28 days.
