HF Comms (skywaves) RNAV

Skywaves, which are principally in the HFHF —1) Radio Waves: High Frequency2) Human Performance: Human Factors band, are caused by radio wave propagating up to the ionosphere and then being bent back towards the earth by the change of speed in the ionosphere. This process is called refraction.
