ILS Tuning RNAV
The ILSILS —Instrument Landing System glideslope is VHF; the glideslope is UHFUHF —Ultra High Frequency. The glideslope is auto-coupled with the localiser, so once you tune the localiser, you get the glideslope "for free" and do not need to do this separately. This reduces workload and the potential for errors.
