ILS 108 RNAV

The localiser, and the localiser only, operates in the band 108-112 MHz. If you tune your car radio, you will usually find it goes up to 107.9 MHz. This frequency proximity can lead to interference. The glideslope is UHFUHF —Ultra High Frequency and not affected. FMFM —Frequency Modulated filters can be fitted to aircraft to alleviate this problem.
