Navaid Errors RNAV

The best way of learning all the errors of the various navaidnavaid —Navigation Aids is to know which frequency band each navaidnavaid —Navigation Aid operates in, and know the possible errors associated with that frequency band.

For example, static only affects frequency bands at HFHF —1) Radio Waves: High Frequency2) Human Performance: Human Factors and below, so any navaidnavaid —Navigation Aids in the VHFVHF —Very High Frequency, UHFUHF —Ultra High Frequency or SHFSHF —Super High Frequency will not have static as an error.

To take another example, night effect is limited to skywaves, so only navaidnavaid —Navigation Aids in the HFHF —1) Radio Waves: High Frequency2) Human Performance: Human Factors band and below will have this as an error.
