PBN APP Rules RNAV
Because the approach phase is so critical, you must be able to retrieve that specific approach by name from your onboard database. In terms of adding/removing waypoints, only waypoints that were already in the database may be added or removed, and then only in response to a specific instruction from ATCATC —Air Traffic Control. This is not to say that manual waypoints may never be entered, but that ability will be limited to less critical phases of flight, such as oceanic crossings.
