VOR Scalloping RNAV
Scalloping is, in effect, the specific name for multipath error applied to a VORVOR —VHF Omnidirectional Range. The signals for other radials are bouncing off the terrain or obstructions and are being reflected towards the aircraft, causing the CDICDI —Course Deviation Indicator to fluctuate as it is getting information that it is on different radials.
